Most dishes come in two sizes for catering trays. 

• Half size aluminum Medium pan (~10 x 12 x 2 .25 in) AKA 1/2 Tray

• Half  size aluminum Shallow pan (~10 x 12 x 1.5 in ) AKA 1/4 Tray​​
